Lighting and Cinematography. Talked out the vision and feeling with director. Chose camera & lighting gear needed for project, chose team to best bring the concept to the screen. Due to day of location/production scheduling changes we had to shoot some night for day interiors so HMIs through window. 4 company moves in 1 day. Cinematographer and Movi Op to create a highlight style video to promote the concert tour. Ran around the entire arena, in the pit, and prtially on the stage. We also did. Sit down interview discussion with 4 band members and I set the wide.

Creating 25, 2 minute films in 6 weeks. Creating a organic feel with a polished clean look. Utilizing visual story telling to capture and share the the essence of the talent and stories. Lighting Interviews, and creating sequences , and directing talent & B-Cam for creative B-Roll.

Crafting the Look of the film. In addition to choosing the look and feel of the image, directing Lightings and camera, I also designed a majority of the shots/movements while thinking of the edit in mind. "The Dendrite" a Narrative Short Indie Film. I cam up with the look, planning and deciding all the lighting, communicating and collaborating directly with the art department, insuring we have all the proper gear, visualizing the film, manifesting the directors vision, adding production value, and infusing my own creativity into the film as well. This film is a highly visual film that communicates more visually as opposed to relying on dialogue. The script has a metaphysical feel to it. There were a lot of very complex shots including long takes with choreographed movements, blocking, and practical/special effects. We shot on RED Epic-W and the Movi Pro.

Touring the Country for 30 days on a Charter Bus with 30 Dancers filming a feature doc. Im the DP/Director. I had 1 PA with me to help out with everything. Pretty immersive documentary project and wearing many hats to make it happen. We filmed backstoreies before and after the cross country trip so I worked 40 days straight with no days off. :) Super passionate about the subject.

Movi Gimbal Op and B-Cam on a adventures and Nature shoot for Microsoft partnered with east coast Conservancy Programs to use technology to help save the environment. I operated Movi on the boats in the east coast ocean Chesapeake Bay as well as we filmed on the beach and at a farm. Movi Gimbal Tech and Movi Operator. This was a Mini Documentary on well know musician Lee Ann Womack. I was B Cam on the Movi for the entire shoot and was responsible for additional cinematography for the film. Gear: Movi Pro, RED EPIC-W, WCU4 Wireless FF, Teradek Wireless Video.

Planning a 4 minute long take shot for a commercial. I had to design the lighting, and prepare camera movement. I scouted location with my Gaffer and gave him the lighting plan/vision ahead of time. We had a 20 minute window in magic hour to land this 4 minute choreographed long shot that involved the actors doing dance and singing. I was the DP Cinematographer and Camera Operator utilizing the new RED EPIC-W 8K Helium Sensor Cinema Camera. We shot mostly in SLOMOTION and all Handheld. I worked with director to help him achieve his vision. I came up with shots and a style that the director loved. This was a creative style dancing video shot in slomotion. Lighting Interviews, Manning the wide camera during interviews, and doing all the Specialty Gimbal work and creative gimbal shots. We filmed with the Famous Blues Musician Gary Clark Jr. I got to lead him on stage with the gimbal rig. We also shot a lot of slo mo and stylized shots with lighting. We had a nearly 1 hour sit down interview with Gary Clark Jr and Eve. Shot on 3 Canon C300 Mark lis (mii) and 1 gimbal. Lighting we used LED Astras and Kino Flos, and a few moles.

Operating Gimbal getting stylized and slo mo shots of the race/charity event for promotional and commercial videos for the event. I roamed around on feet, and also was on a golf cart getting smooth gimbal shots of the runners. I would hop on and off to get creative long takes and stylized shots with sun flares, etc.

Director of Photography and Camera/Gimbal Operator for Corporate Narrative video. Video was to open up a very large conference. I directed the lights, camera, and set design as DP on the production. Very Fast Paced with minimal resources. Worked hard to pull off the shot list with the give circumstances. Video is for a very large corporation.

Director of Photography / DOP for Reality TV Show Called PranaWarriors. Filmed Internationally in Tulum Mexico, capturing the Beautiful Nature of the Yucatan, Caribbean Ocean and Jungles. Organized Gear List. Collaborated with Director and I came up with a visual style for the theme of the show. I was responsible for Camera Department, Lighting Department and Set Design. We were super fast paced with jam packed days, however I got to light the interviews, and several locations through out the shoot. We shot Alexa Minis, Ronin Gimbal, A7Sii, and 5 GoPros. Filmed in Tulum Mexico in the Jungle, on and in the Caribbean Ocean, and in the Cenotes. This was a documentary style reality tv show series that has a conscious, or spiritual touch to it. Imagine travel show meets yoga. The cast members practiced daily yoga, meditation, service to others, organic food, nature and wildlife experiences and swimming with turtles, extreme sport activities such as zip lining, hiking in humid jungle, and so much more.

Operated Gimbal and Camera for a 3 day commercial shoot in Dallas. All shots were long takes with hidden cuts. Some of the shots consisted of very complex moves and choreography of talent and composition with camera. I work well with complex long takes and am very confident when it comes to complex gimbal shots and camera moves.

All Cinematography, And DP aspects, planned shots, directed lights, and camera movement. Operated Ronin Gimbal system as well. Collaborated with the director of film to bring her vision to life in a great way.

Operated Ronin Gimbal for very complex long takes for action feature film. Director was very particular and detailed for the shots. I had several marks going from close up to wide shots, from low to high angles and from slow pacing to running following actors through out a house. In addition to composition I had to be mindful of fitting through doorways and for my monitor not to hit thresholds and also to dodge areas so I didn't create shadows. The director complemented saying that I nailed it and that the shots looked even better than he imaged in his head.

We filmed a creative style video in Slow Motion with a 14 year old olympian gymnast, and professional fire spinners and fire breathers. To show people the wonderfulness of whats possible, and what you cant see with the human eye that is really happening (the slow motion). Shot on the RED Epic.
