Brought in from the start to breakdown the script and create an initial budget for production; responsibilities from there include monthly budget tracking, hiring and negotiating crew rates and deals, management of all production logistics while maintaining timelines and staying on budget.

Alexandro was an absolute pleasure to work with. Incredibly professional, detail oriented and went above and beyond his role in many ways to help further serve the production. He was incredibly kind and patient through a series of long (and sometimes ...MORE...
very cold) shoot days and I have no doubt his script wrap reports will be very helpful in the post-production process. I look forward to the next opportunity to work with him!

Dear Hiring teams,
As a former DGA Assistant Director for many years, I can say with authority that Alexandro Pacheco is a natural-born line producer with exceptional people skills that dovetail seamlessly with his aptitude as an accomplished sto ...MORE... ryteller across a variety of media formats. He is equally at home in video, both fiction and documentaries, online and interactive, and I am sure he will tame VR soon. He can direct, edit, research and develop ideas like he breathes and assist others in doing so; skills he honed at NYU with a 3.82 GPA
Having been a professional project manager for many years, he knows what it means to bring in a project on time, under budget and with good humor. Alexandro has done voiceover; he has the presence of an actor, but without the attitude. Having said this, he wears his talents well. Approachable and fun, he is a generous spirit and an exceedingly hard worker. He is poised, but somehow you never see him sweat. He is easy to be around and always gets the job done. Always.
Alexandro is a master of detail and natural born problem solver: meeting deadlines, schedules and budgets Happily dealing with paperwork of any kind, he takes these things in his stride. He is wonderful with people, and collects friends and colleagues like human Velcro. He is a great supervisor, and on the flip side knows what it means to work for a supervisor. He is organized to a fault and never saw a piece of paper he could not tame.
A straight "A" student at BMCC, Alex worked in Cuba on a linguistic project set for co-publication with one of his professors from the CUNY Graduate Center. Alexandro speaks both English and Spanish fluently and is at home in both cultures which prepares him for the coming decades of Spanish language dominance in global media.
Based on his work in my classroom as a student and then as my Supplemental Instructor, I wrote, what was for me, a very rare letter of recommendation to NYU's Kanbar Institute of Film and Television.
At NYU, he excelled in directing and producing, and is learning 'the business' from the best. Because he is at home with both the 'show' and 'business' aspects of our industry, Alexandro Pacheco's success is assured.
