Assisted DoP in camera builds, equipment load in & load out, cable management, lens swings, battery swings, and card swings. As it was a smaller crew, also ran the slate and kept camera logs for both A and B camera. In addition, ran DIT and data wrangling on set using ShotPut Pro.

Assisted in set up and striking the set. Built out camera bodies, mounted and positioned tripods, and assisted gaffer in setting up lighting, C-stands, and building out scrim frame. Taped down loose power cords for on-set safety, and monitored memory cards and batteries on all cameras while filming. Also assisted in load in and load out of equipment.

Helped DP set up stands, rig lights, gobos, and flags, as well as checked batteries and helped swap lenses. Also worked as a boom op and ran sound, as it was an independent production and crew was expected to wear multiple hats.

learned how to mud and prime flats for painting. Also learned faux wood grain techniques as well as other scenic tradecraft and skills.
