The OpportunityThe Casting Business Affairs Team at *** is seeking an experienced professional for an associate role to support the US/Canada/UK Scripted Series group. Members of this team are the subject matter experts on engaging non-Series Regular performers (including guest performers, stunt performers, singers and dancers) to work on *** 's award winning scripted series.
The RoleAs the Casting Business Affairs Associate, you will play a primary role in structuring, negotiating, and drafting performer agreements, collaborating with internal and external partners to oversee the entire process necessary for guest performers on a production. This includes coordinating with casting, business and legal affairs, production, accounting, post-production, credits, residuals, and other internal and external teams throughout all stages of series from pre-production to production and post-production.

Responsibilities- Work closely with external casting to advise on deal structure and strategy for guest performers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact *** ween *** and talent agents and attorneys regarding guest performer agreements.
- Review and approve project-specific guest performer deals, ensuring accuracy, signatures, and payment details.
- Advise and educate producers, casting, production, finance, post-production, and business affairs teams (in-house and external partners) on the requirements under SAG-AFTRA (and/or other performer union) contracts.
- Work closely with in-house Creative Casting to provide optimal support to external partners.
- Provide guidance to post-production regarding cast contract requirements when modifying scenes, including moving, splitting, and deleting scenes, as well as ADR/Loop Group payments.
- Coordinate with Screen Credits, Residuals, and Legal Delivery teams to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Willingness to work on new subjects outside area of expertise, take on special projects, and support all areas of the Casting Business Affairs Team as the need arises
Requirements- Experience with SAG-AFTRA, ACTRA, or Equity Collective Bargaining Agreements
- High proficiency in contract review, structuring, and drafting, as well as negotiating complex talent/performer agreements.
- Exhibit sound judgment and adept critical thinking skills in various situations, enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred- JD and/or BA/BS degree
- Experience with Google Suite, i.e., Google Sheets
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $70,000 - $350,000.
