Job DescriptionThe Enterprise Architecture team enables strategic alignment of our Enterprise platforms to the Operations & Technology Unified Architecture vision by optimizing the application landscape through application rationalization, reducing the number of bespoke solutions, standardizing enterprise capabilities, i *** uencing change & innovation, increasing solution re-usability, and fostering collaboration *** ween our Product, Engineering and Business Solutions partners. This position will play a key role in ensuring our Content Supply Chain 5-10-year vision across our studio production, live production, post-production, studio, sales, marketing, fulfillment, and distribution functions are strategically executed. This horizontal role plays a significant part ensuring our Enterprise solutions scale across *** U and support O&T's long-range vision.
Responsibilities- Manage and lead a team of Enterprise Architects focused on supporting the End-to-End Content Supply Chain across the 6 strategic platforms (Content, Content Sales, Production, Marketing, Ad Sales, and Distribution).
- Mentor architecture teams, develop their skills, and help them to adopt the latest technologies and best practices.
- Develop and execute long-term enterprise architecture strategy and standards across *** Universal's portfolio of broadcast, cable, news, sports, parks, and digital properties, incorporating the latest developments, innovations, and best practices in enterprise architecture.
- Consult with business and technology leaders on strategic needs, advise on optimal solutions, and align roadmaps, leveraging deep understanding of the latest technologies and trends.
- Drive architectural governance through principles, standards, guidelines, and architectural reviews, promoting best practices and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Represent architecture in executive forums and communicate technology strategy and progress to leadership, leveraging excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Partner with Product, Engineering & Business Solution leaders across Operations & Technology to lead build vs buy, feature gap, retirement, landscape, enterprise fit, technical fit, ROI, and other various EA (Enterprise Architecture) exercises enabling alignment to the CSC long range strategy.
- Build, maintain & i *** uence key relationships with both our studio & live production teams.
- Become a SME of the E2E Content Supply Chain and participate in strategic & technical discussions with platform leaders across the organization.
- Partner with Solution Architects, Technical Architects, and other SMEs to deliver key discovery artifacts.
- Lead integration efforts of new Products from a process and architectural perspective into the Product. portfolio in coordination with Product & Engineering leaders. Deep dive into new products and determine how they align to support Unified Architecture.
- Have an in-depth understanding of the destination architecture and functionality across our core products.
- Own and maintain the Content Supply Chain data within the Enterprise Architecture Management software solution. Own and govern capabilities, application mapping, TIME measurement, etc.
- Be an unbiased champion for innovation and thought leader, bringing in the latest ideas that align with the destination architecture and business direction.
- Partner directly with the other Enterprise Architecture leaders supporting our Corporate Core and Technical Foundation pillars of *** Universal. Ensure strategy is fully aligned *** ween both organizations.
Qualifications- 5+years' experience working in the television/broadcast, *** , technology, or related field
- 5+years' experience working with large scale supply chains supporting *** /content workflows
- 3+years leadership experience managing a team of people
- 5+years' experience with micro-service-based architecture and cloud-based technology
- 5+ years' experience in a role demonstrating strong technical, quantitative, or analytical skills
- 5+years of proven experience on i *** uencing technology solutions across various cross-functional teams
- Extensive experience with drawing and process map tools
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- I *** uential leader with a proven track record of promoting change and innovation through thought leadership
- Successful track record of leading matrixed organizations through change
- Strong executive presence with ability to i *** uence across organizations.
Preferred Qualifications:- 3+years' experience working in the consulting industry for technical or *** specific clients
- 1+years' experience working with an Enterprise Architecture management software solution
- 1+years' experience with Digital Asset Management and/or *** Asset Management based solutions for large scale Enterprise organizations
- 1+years' experience supporting broadcast workflows, operations, film technology and/or *** infrastructure
- Previously held roles as an Enterprise or Solution Architect within a *** company
- TOGAF or Zachman certification
- Previously held roles in Product Management, Post-Production, Studio Production, IT, Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, *** Operations
- Passion for keeping up to date on latest emerging platforms and trends in the distribution & production space
- Passion for mentoring and developing architecture teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to collaborate with others to achieve common goals.
- Ability to think strategically and to develop and implement innovative solutions.
