Overview and Responsibilities *** Streaming is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their Financial Planning & Analysis team in New York, NY! We are an enthusiastic group helping to lead the future of *** and technology by providing Financial Planning support to all of *** Streaming.
The Financial Analyst will support *** Streaming and will focus primarily on *** +, our premium subscription product, which houses content from *** , *** , *** , *** , *** , Smithsonian Channel, TV Land, VH1, *** Pictures, *** and other sports programming as well as original streaming content.
Much of the Analyst's time will be dedicated to the valuation of existing *** ( *** , *** , *** , etc.) and *** content in the service. This person will also be valuing content procurement opportunities for legacy series and focusing on pulling and analyzing large sets of data to maintain key performance indicators reporting of legacy content, inclusive of *** & *** Pictures. This role is focused on content strategy; therefore it will be modeling intensive and require an independent and creative thinker. Attention to detail is essential as analyses help inform long-term digital strategy.

Responsibilities Include: - Responsible for building and maintaining complex financial models to support the budgeting, forecasting and expansion of *** + library series. This role will partner and share regular updates with our P+ Content Ops team to ensure our library spend is within plan.
- Model by title amortization expense as it relates to *** + legacy series licensing costs as well as Rights & Participation's budgets.
- Build and update *** + legacy series acquisition & retention models to scope the value of specific content on the service.
- Maintain and update *** + Library expense Long Range Plan as it continues to evolve.
- Work with internal business partners (Data Insights Group, Marketing, Programming, *** ) to model new *** + expansion opportunities, including back catalogs of successful library comedies, dramas and kid's content.
- Expand and maintain reporting of essential key performance indicators performance and efficiencies of our P+ library catalog. This includes analyzing large datasets and discerning insights about content performance to help inform leadership and drive strategic business decisions.
- Ad hoc requests and analyses will be frequent.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum of 2+ years experience in FP&A, finance, or equivalent quantitative roles
Additional Qualifications - High level of proficiency in Excel, experience in preparing complex financial models and manipulating large datasets
- Strong communicator with the ability to moderate based on audience and demonstrate an ability to partner with a range of cross functional partners
- Experience in a highly analytical environment
- Strong work ethic and an acute attention to detail required
- Ability to work quickly and accurately on various projects concurrently
- Finance/Economics/Mathematics/Accounting major preferred
- Rigorous modeling experience
- Prior experience in digital *** , specifically in a subscription-based role, is highly desirable

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 - 80,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
