Key Responsibilities:
Work with your QF Producer to craft compelling video content, ensuring alignment with the narrative vision and pacing.

Utilize advanced video editing tools, including Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, and Photoshop.

Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, maintaining organization and adhering to deadlines.

Work with your QF Producer to interpret client briefs and feedback with precision, ensuring their vision is realized through your edits.

Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the editing process.

Continuously update and refine editing skills, staying current with industry trends and software updates.

Act as a collaborative and flexible team member, ready to assist across a range of tasks.

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in video editing.

Strong portfolio showcasing a range of editing styles and techniques.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and comfort working on both Mac and Windows platforms.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Quite Frankly Productions is your stage to create, refine, and share stories through the art of video editing.

The videographer job will film content at a fitness center.
The content will include workouts on:
1. turf; (HIIT)
2. swimming (weather permitting)
3. yoga (outdoors in grass): yoga flow and warrior pose
4. tai chi: (outside in grass)
5. pilates: (in studio)
All scenes will be less than 10 minutes
Call times will be early am (sunrise) to take advantage of the sun/natural lighting and less people at the gym while we are shooting.

At EOD all content will have to be confirmed. We can use the story board to confirm all scenes were shot.
The date of May 3 may be changed.

The intent of the project is to sell the script. Therefore no camera equipment will be used. Just iphone, gimballs and lights. The script is complete. The shooting script is complete. A shooting script and story board will be made available to the videographer prior to the shoot date.

Scenes will be shot inside and outside in Harlem and the Bronx. The cast is multi-ethnic. I will need a videographer that has experience filming men and women of diverse backgrounds and skin tones. Everyone must look good (in their best light). If you don't have experience with diversity please prepare yourself prior to applying.

All scenes are 5 minutes or less. We will not shoot in continuity. I only need the actors present for their scenes on set. Therefore we will shoot the scenes in order of actors appearance.

We're looking for a story AP to join our team on an established, unscripted, observational series. AP will need to be proficient with Avid and willing to go through raw footage to help create and support story goals. Also responsible for clearances and post deliverables. Position is fully remote but post generally operates on ET. We are looking for someone who is thorough, detail-oriented and excited about building story. Seeking Composer for upcoming short film currently in post-production. Rate negotiable.



Below are the details:

PROJECT: “Paint Me Blue” (narrative short film)
RUNTIME: Approx. 19 mins (Approx. 8-12 mins of music needed for the score)
GENRE: Romantic Drama, Magical Realism
MUSIC TYPE: Strings. Open to a variety of instrumentations for this score, but most interested in a combination of violin, cello, and perhaps harp.
FILM SYNOPSIS: A Painter and a Muse fall in love, create art, and escape reality in the midst of chaos and tragedy. As the world returns to normalcy, they must grapple with their own evolution, purpose, and destiny.
LOCATION: NYC-based preferred, but open to working remotely.
TIMELINE: Score would ideally be completed by June, but open to a later deadline if needed.
RATE: $1,000-$2,000 (Negotiable Flat Fee)

Please provide portfolio/scoring samples for consideration.

Composers who could provide instrumentation and record the score themselves would be ideal candidates and allow for a higher rate. We are certainly open to hiring musicians separately and recording in a more traditional studio setting, although this may have to limit the rate for the Composer.

Ideally, this project can serve as a springboard for future collaborations together. We will also be submitting this film to festivals, which should provide further networking opportunities.
