Dielectric is currently seeking a full-time experienced Manual Machinist to join our team in Lewiston. This is a position that will perform machinery operations under minimal supervision and demonstrate an ability to run all machines. We are looking for a team player who has the ability to mentor others, while maintaining company established quality standard. You must be willing to work in all departments to ensure that the business needs are met. This position will report to Production Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret drawings to determine production specifications and plant data
- The ability to run manual lathes and milling equipment
- Skilled and knowledgeable in all aspects of manufacturing machinery
- Ability to edit programs on machines without assistance
- Identify, troubleshoot and correct any machinery problems
- Able to run all machinery in a safe and timely manner
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Other duties as assigned
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years working in a similar manufacturing environment
- Strong product and safety knowledge is a must
- An aptitude for math, problem solving, and computer skills
- Demonstrated organizational and communication skills with attention to detail of quality criteria
- The ability to work in a team environment with the ability to plan and achieve goals
- Analytical with strong problem solving abilities
- Must be able to regularly lift and move 25 lbs., frequently lift and move 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and move up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to operate all equipment safely and within the manufacturers specifications
- The employee is required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel and crouch frequently
