How you'll make an impact:
The Oracle Application Developer position is responsible for development of technical specifications, software design, software implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Oracle E-Business Suite Applications as well as interacting with end-users to provide support. This position will provide business analyst, superior technical skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a rapidly changing environment. Activities encompass the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from project initiation, development of business requirements, implementation, through on-going maintenance and support. The Oracle Application Developer will demonstrate full competency in area of expertise & be able to share this expertise, provide guidance and support to others.
What you'll do:
- Perform developer project tasks related to requirement understanding and completeness, solution proposal, design, development, configuration, unit testing and system testing.
- Design and develop forms, extension, PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions to extend Oracle application functionality based on user requirements.
- Design and develop custom interfaces and conversions.
- Develop ad-hoc reports using SplashBI tool, customize Oracle standard reports, and develop custom reports to meet business functional requirements.
- Customize Oracle Workflow to meet the business processes.
- Create, extend, and deploy OAF application pages
- Develop reports and Templates using BI Publisher and XML Publisher
- Creating Bursting process to send documents via email
- Deal with project tasks, multiple high priority support issues, and problem tickets simultaneously.
- Develop and maintain technical documentations.
- Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts correlating to given requirements.
- Execute unit/system integration test cases prior to submitting to UAT.
- Interact with Financial and Accounting Business units to ensure that requirements are complete and feasible.
- Participate in knowledge sharing with other developers to make them more effective.
- Work in a team environment by submitting design, source code, and unit test cases for review and performing reviews of other team member's deliverables.
- Respond to production issues with details of their impact and what the fix requires.
- Understanding of accounting/finance to understand the context for custom development and to work with finance during Project Initiation, Requirement Gathering, User Acceptance Testing and post-Deployment validation.
- Develop or receive designs for changes to the system. Work with external vendors or other teams to ensure the correct design and implementation of components that require external interfaces.
What you'll need:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 5- 8 years of Oracle Application development and customization experiences in Oracle EBS Applications Release R12
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle EBS 11i and R12 Application architecture, data structures, and functionality around GL, AP, AR, FA, PO, PA, INV and HR modules in Multi Org and Multi Currency environments and must be familiar with Oracle APIs of these modules.
- The candidate must have in depth knowledge with AOL including setups and registrations of concurrent programs, and a good underlying knowledge of Oracle Application module table structures and APIs ,
- Good understanding of form personalization.
- Experience in oracle SOA in creating /testing REST / SOAP Web services in Postman/SOAP UI.
- Must be able to solve complex technical problems and communicate the solution to non-technical management, peers, and end users.
- Good public speaking and presentation skills.

At *** , we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $65,000 to $128,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
