Job Summary/Description:
****-TV has an opportunity for an ambitious and talented Multi- *** Journalist. You’ll be covering major Sports and News stories in a capital city adjacent to a Big 10 University.
Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
• Write news/sports stories, shoot and edit content that grabs the viewer’s attention
• Contribute story ideas
• Cover Breaking News and Sports
• Digital savvy storyteller
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Excellent writing skills
• Reliable news judgment
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Possess a positive and ‘can-do’ attitude
• Ability to shoot and edit video is a must
• Flexibility with evolving or changing operational needs
• Ability to write news stories, shoot, and edit content that grabs the viewer’s attention
• Must have good communication skills
• Have an aptitude for social ***
