Overview and Responsibilities
The *** Global Facilities team is seeking a Senior Critical Facilities Technician to join the team in our Hauppauge, NY location! This role will support the entire on-air critical Network Operations Center (NOC) and ensure all equipment is properly maintained, operational, and the work environment is clean and safe for all employees. There will be a need to periodically work weekends and or evenings as required to respond to after-hours calls for any facility emergency i.e., power outage, Building Management System (BMS), Fire Alarm, Snow Emergency, etc. On call coverage will be required every third week of each month.
• Operation of critical equipment and systems will be conducted as outline from established Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain daily rounds & checks of the equipment in the facility to ensure all equipment is operational.
• Coordinate and manage building contractors as required.
• Provide routine preventative maintenance of equipment as scheduled.
• Respond to daily work requests as scheduled and assigned.
• Operate the Facility BMS/Alerton system to monitor and control our HVAC systems.
• Operate the Siemens' Fire Alarm Panel to acknowledge troubles and alarms.
• Knowledge of fire suppression systems (Preaction, Wet, Novec, and FM200)
Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years experience in Maintenance Operations.
• Must have experience in electrical distribution systems and mechanical equipment (i.e., chiller plant).
• Experience operating diesel generators and transfer switches, air conditioning, and stand-by power disciplines.
Additional Qualifications
• Familiar with Auto Cad is a plus.
• NYC refrigeration license is plus.
• Excellent people management, communication, and customer ser *** skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make appropriate decisions.
• Work well with minimal direct supervision
• Must be dependable, self-motivated and have excellent troubleshooting skills,
• Ability to thoroughly document and report repairs and work in detail
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
• I *** uence and effectively communicate with others to drive work forward.
• Design, apply and interpret robust analytical solutions to support decisions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $64,800.00 - 79,500.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
