Job Summary/Description:

****-TV is searching for a producer to discover, create and distribute content across our stations various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be able to embrace a multi-platform workflow within a dynamic newsroom setting.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Write original stories for the station's digital platforms.
- Co-produce content with newsroom employees across multiple platforms.
- Use digital metrics and analytics to adjust and maximize newsroom digital strategies.
- Monitor and produce content on the station's website, apps and social *** pages.
- Edit video and photos for digital stories.
- Collaborate with newsroom employees to create the best user experience for station viewers.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or related field.
- Demonstrated mastery of digital and social *** strategy.
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritize tasks and information under pressure are required.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have scheduling flexibility.

The *** affiliate ****-TV in Columbus, GA seeks a dynamic Sales Account Executive. The Sales Account Executive generates advertising revenue by calling on established agencies, cold-calling new prospects and convincing potential clients of the merits of television advertising.

• Implements strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.
• Establishes credible relationships with local business community.
• Makes sales calls on existing and prospective clients.
• Maintains assigned accounts and develops new accounts.
• Prepares and delivers sales presentations to clients.
• Explains to customers how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible.
• Provides clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement in all *** .
• Develops advertising schedules with clients and station personnel responsible for placing advertising into station *** .

Requirements & Skills :

Job Summary/Description:

**** seeks a TMP who will be responsible for newscast and commercial ingestion as well as play out for *** , *** , and *** shows. Working with the news department to code and present newscasts (Overdrive operation). EAS and transmitter logging to keep the station in FCC compliance and other duties as assigned. On-the-job training will be provided. Besides ingesting shows and commercials for later playback, playing back and monitoring shows and commercials for *** , *** , and *** .

Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Overdrive operation, coding, and playing of live local newscasts for both *** and *** news affiliates
• Running EAS tests to keep the station in FCC compliance, monitoring transmitters, and taking accurate readings
• Ability to monitor and fix problems with logs, (Crispin - Loading Dock)
• Working with news to produce Live newscasts, Operation of Overdrive
• Ability to work weekends and duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Able to work a flexible schedule
• Live Newscast experience, MCR/MCO experience, ingesting show and commercial material
• Great communication skills and problem-solving ability under pressure
• Knowledge of AP ENPS, Ross Overdrive, Carbonite, Crispin, VizRT Graphics and VizTicker, Bitcentral Precis, and Panasonic PTZ Cameras
• Highly skilled with Windows-based computer systems
• Positive Team Player

Job Summary/Description:

• • Operates studio cameras and field cameras for live and taped events
  • Composes and frames shots, applying the technical aspects of light, lenses and camera settings to achieve the effects sought by directors, station management, other personnel
  • Adjusts positions and controls of cameras to change focus, exposure and lighting as requested by the directors, station management, other personnel
  • Operates audio equipment for live and taped events
  • Operates computer editing systems, electronic titling systems, video switching equipment, and digital video effects units to produce a final product
  • Collaborate with the director and studio staff to coordinate the action in the studio
  • Builds and decorates the set and/or provides props used for production
  • Operate studio graphic systems during broadcast/production
  • Provide audio production-related support as needed and may work with outside production facilities
  • Assist in digital *** productions, liaising with appropriate departments
  • May convert analog recordings, film, or printed materials to digital format

Requirements & Skills :

• Experience in television, film, or post production preferred but not required

The Sales Assistant works within established Sales Department guidelines to maximize station revenue opportunities from an order entry, traffic and accounting perspective. The Sales assistant is also responsible for performing all clerical functions required by department personnel as needed.

• Performs all clerical functions for the Sales Department
• Maintains awareness of the most current traffic policies, practices and procedures
• Enters order, traffic and accounting data using computers, ledgers, orders and other resources
• Corresponds with customers and confers with coworkers to answer inquiries and resolve account problems
